Fool’s Dilemma

I got a fool’s dilemma and it’s bringing my heart pain
I got a soul’s desire with nobody left to blame
I got a mask covering up my face
these are burnt out times in a burnt out place
I got a fool’s dilemma bringing my heart pain

now I’m fixed on coffee and I’m fixed on getting ahead
and I’m depending on vitamins to get me up and out of my bed
well I’m fixed on falling into all the above
trying to snag a little piece of your love
when my fool’s dilemma is standing in my way

well I’m split on silence and my mind is fixed in twos
and I’m depending on violence to help me make it through
well I’m covered from my head to toe in shades of blues
and I’m sure you can tell I got a case of them too
when my fool’s dilemma is telling me what to do

I got a fool’s dilemma and it’s bringing my heart pain
I got a soul’s desire with nobody left to blame
I got a mask covering up my face
these are burnt out times in a burnt out place
I got a fool’s dilemma bringing my heart pain

sometimes I wonder sometimes I think to myself
if things would be better altogether as someone else
well I’d have me a house a nice new car
I wouldn’t worry ‘bout anything anymore
and my fool’s dilemma would surely then be gone
ahh but my fool’s dilemma looks like it’s here to stay
and my soul’s desire has got nowhere left to complain
and this mask that’s been covering up my face
no longer is gonna be misplaced
when my fool’s dilemma follows me to my grave
when my fool’s dilemma follows me to my grave
