CANAANVILLE EP Out Today!!! + Onion AV Club Coverage + Tour Progresses

Our new EP entitled Canaanville is out today via Misra Records.  You can purchase the EP at the Misra Store. They’re offering special deals where you can get a digital download of the EP with the purchase of our new t-shirt or a purchase of our most recent full-length Canary.  You can also find the EP today in digital format from Misra or at all your on-line stores like I-Tunes, Amazon, etc.  Thanks for your support!

We’re excited to learn today that the lead-off track “Old Oak Tree” was included in the Onion AV Club’s weekly Must-Hear Rundown.  You can also read an interview with Adam Remnant at Los Angeles based site Bestnewbands.com.

Beyond the release of the EP, the band is out on tour right now. We are currently out on the West coast with dates up the coast including the Pickathon Music Festival (Neko Case, Blitzen Trapper, Phosphorescent, etc.) before doing dates on the way back to the Midwest.  View full tour dates and details at the band’s website.

Also, we are pleased to announce that Daytrotter has recently posted the encore session of Southeast Engine.  The band does a rare performance of The Carter Family’s “Worried Man Blues” along with a couple tunes from Canary and the early classic “Stranded in the Heartland.”  The painting rendition of the band alone is worth checking out.  Check out the session here.

Thanks again for all your support friends!  We couldn’t do this without you.

Sincerely,
Southeast Engine
